Avantra is a complex B2B platform for monitoring SAP environments that, over time, became increasingly difficult to use and maintain.
When I joined the team as a Senior Product Designer in 2023, my role was focused on supporting and accelerating the migration to a new, modern interface. After two years, it became clear that rebuilding a product of this scale feature by feature was unsustainable. Stepping up into a Design Lead role, I worked on a new product vision and strategy centred on unifying the experience and gradually introducing AI capabilities.
